Cartier International Polo Trip – London to Windsor – Sunday 25th July 2010

Main Match England vs New Zealand

The Cartier International Polo is the largest Polo event in the world. With upto 50,000 people attending it’s the number 1 Polo event in the world. At the Polo you’ll find the rich and famous mixing with Royalty. In the past we’ve seen Prince Harry play as well as other famous polo players from around the world.

Each year for the last 4 years in a row we’ve done a trip from London by Double Decker Bus to see the Cartier International Polo which takes place in Windsor.

The Double Decker usually leaves from Baker Street Tube Station in central London and takes the group to Guards Polo Club in Windsor. Most people coming on the trip bring with them a picnic and their own drinks.
We usually set ourselves up on the grass with our picnics and drinks on the edge of the Polo Grounds from which you can see the games being played. There are also food stalls and often some great shopping bargains to be found at the polo as well with a shopping village being set-up each year.

We leave Windsor around 6pm and afterwards the Double Decker returns to west London (usually Hammersmith) to avoid the traffic and have an after party at a local bar.
