London is served by 5 major airports… Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, London City Airport and Luton Airport.

Out of those only London City Airport is within the centre of London. Heathrow lies far to the west of London but is connected to the city via a tube train station. All of the other 3 Airports are well outside of London’s public transport system. In order to get to Luton, Stansted or Gatwick airports you’d need to take a coach, national rail train or taxi. And as the distance to the airport increases so does the cost of getting to and from the airport.
