London has every type of nightclub possible from the large superclubs with 7 floors to tiny clubs that are nothing more then a hole in the wall. For most clubs men will have a harder time getting in then women. Some clubs will turn down large groups of men for fear of trouble. White trainers (or any trainers), horizontal stripes and torn jeans are often big no-no’s. Since the UK updated it’s alcohol licensing laws bars & club have been able to stay open much longer then ever before, however the penalties for letting in under age drinkers has also become much harder. The result is that it’s alsmost impossible to get into a club without a photo ID. Usually this means a UK or European driving liecence or a passport. ID without a photo is rarely accepted and oter non government provided ID is often turned away.
