There are a large number of Universities in London. Due to how crowded the city is it is rare however to find a university where the entire university is situated in a single complex. Often accommodation will be in one part of the city, canteen one place, library another, etc In some cases you might finish one lesson and then be racing across to another part of the city to attend your next class.

Many of the Universities in London were former polytechnics which changed their names to be a University to enhance their image. Although there might be many good Universities in London – the overall University experience may not be quite the same as studying elsewhere, especially compared to campus style Universities.
