Make new friends in London, England

FAQ

Frequency Asked Questions

How do the events work?

Whenever we are planning a new event we use our Google Group to inform people. With over 6,200 people on the mailing list this is by far the easiest way for us to contact you and let you know what is happening next.

Depending on the size of the event we will usually email you one or two weeks in advance of the event, with final reminder emails usually being sent 48 or 24 hours before the event is due to take place.

Can I come alone or with a group?

We’re all about meeting new people and having fun, we don’t mind how young or old you are (as long as you’re old enough to get into the venue) or if you come on your own or bring friends and partners with you.

Most of the people that come along are new comers to London, looking to make new friends. Some have just moved to London for work, or are in the city for their studies. We also have a steady stream of Londoners that enjoy meeting people from all over the city. We always have a mix of newcomers and regulars at each event.

What is The Average Age of Attendees?

There is no set age for the events, adults of all age are welcome. However as a general rule most of the people coming to the events are aged in their 20′s, 30′s and 40′s. The age of the people coming varies with each event. If the event is in a nightclub then you should expect the average age to be lower then at the Cartier polo for instance.

How do I find the group?

We usually put table signs out at each event with the website name on them. We also provide those who register for each events with the contact mobile phone number of the event organiser on the night so if you can’t find the group you can always call us. This number is given out in the emails with the event details.
