EveryTwoWeeks came about when Diamond, the site’s founder used to volunteer as an event organiser for an American based events website. After having run many successful events as an unpaid volunteer – the American site decided to start charging their volunteer organisers a monthly fee to use their system, with the view that the organisers either pay this cost out of their own pocket or at each meeting collect a fee from those that attended..

So rather then charge people to attend events the Diamond set-up EveryTwoWeeks.com – with the aim of trying to organise approx. 2 free to attend social events each month. Some months there’s more and some months there’s less events. But overall we try to organise 2 events each month.
